MJ saw his wife's love for her clients and her clients' mutual love for her services. He also saw a growing need for people to
receive salon-quality services in the comfort of home - physicians with crazy schedules, stay-at-home moms, older adults,
busy executives, people recovering from surgeries, etc. He also recognized a growing desire for wedding venues to partner
with a company that was licensed and insured to provide mobile service.
And Running With Scissors Mobile Hair Salon was born.
MJ is an entrepreneur at heart. He is a licensed Realtor in DC and Virginia, a Certified Senior Advisor, a local Real Estate Investor, and has a consulting firm.
He loves spending time with his wife, Jackie and their daughters.... and playing golf.

Elba has served clients in the Metro-DC area and Virginia Beach since starting her hair career in 2015. She
graduated with Honors from the renowned Paul Mitchell School.
From Evolve Salon to Ulta Beauty & Salon, Elba has made a name for herself as a go-to stylist for both cut and color. Whether you want artistic
unicorn hair color or a complex asymmetrical bob cut with lots of layers, Elba is a master at her craft.
Elba's work has been featured in Lord & Taylor's spring fashion show (hair and makeup).

Jackie loves to make people feel beautiful.
She's a highly-trained, creative hair stylist, but what makes Jackie truly different is... her love for life.
After graduating from cosmetology school at the prestigious Graham-Webb Academy in Rosslyn, Virginia, Jackie received world-class training with Warren-Tricomi Salon at The Plaza Hotel in Manhattan and in Greenwich, Connecticut. Training under stylists featured on television and in magazines and whose work was showcased at the Paris and New York Fashion Weeks, Jackie learned from the very best. In 2010, she moved back home to Virginia and became a stylist at Elizabeth Arden's Red Door Spa in Tyson's Corner and Reston. In 2014, Jackie moved to the high-end Salon Bleu in Tyson's Galleria, where she served Metro DC's elite.
Jackie followed her lifelong dream of owning a business where she could make people feel beautiful in the comfort of their own homes, while using her training, skill, and passion for hair. In 2015, Running With Scissors Mobile Hair Spa was officially launched.
Her work has been featured at Chicago Fashion Week, she has been the preferred bridal hair specialist for DC's Willard Hotel, and has served royalty, celebrities, and Washington's elite.
